Exploratory experiment designed to discover new patterns targeting miR-934 in CRC cell lines. Primary outcome: exosome characterization and miR-934 expression levels
Transmission electron microscopy and differential ultracentrifugation were used to verify the existence of exosomes derived from colorectal cancer (CRC) cells. The study examined the aberrant overexpression of miR-934 in CRC, particularly in colorectal cancer liver metastasis (CRLM), and analyzed its correlation with poor prognosis in CRC patients. This foundational experiment established the presence and functional relevance of exosomal miR-934 in the context of liver metastasis.
transmission electron microscopy, differential ultracentrifugation, expression analysis
confirmation of exosome presence and elevated miR-934 in CRLM
detection of exosomes and significant miR-934 overexpression
