Description

Expression quantitative trait loci (eQTL) analysis examining the relationship between identified risk variants and gene expression in human brain tissues. The study investigated whether genetic variants at the three novel risk loci (6q16.2, 12q24.31, and 16p13.3) were associated with differential expression of nearby genes. Additionally, mRNA expression analysis compared gene expression levels between MDD cases and controls in human brain tissue samples.
